The 74th annual Pennsbury High School commencement took place Thursday, June 9, at 6 p.m. on Falcon Field, Pennsbury High School East Campus, 705 Hood Blvd. in Fairless Hills.
Seven hundred forty one seniors graduated, with post-secondary plans including a commitment to the U.S. Military, trade schools, and two- and four-year colleges and universities, including Carnegie Mellon, Penn State, Harvard, California Institute of Technology, University of Michigan, University of Maryland, University of Pennsylvania and more.
Commencement speakers included school board president TR Kannan, Superintendent Dr. Thomas Smith, and Principal Reginald Meadows. Student speakers were class president Alexis Harman, Alen Ibric, Krishna Thacker and Adyita Gaba.
Members of the Pennsbury High School Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Chris Bygott, performed Pomp and Circumstance. Members of the Pennsbury Chamber Choir, under the direction of James Moyer, performed the Star-Spangled Banner and Pennsbury Alma Mater.
