The National Association of Asian American Professionals Philadelphia is raising funds for the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund on Saturday, May 21, from noon to 5 p.m. at Polanka Park, 3258 Knights Road, Bensalem.
The goal of the event is to increase awareness of the BCHSF, which provides scholarships to the children of police officers, firefighters, rescue squads, correctional officers and emergency service personnel killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.
Join for a day of fun, including a cornhole competition with prizes and other family-friendly activities, such as food trucks, face painting, balloon animals, a bounce house and more. Any donations are welcome and appreciated.
To register for the event, visit bit.ly/NAAAPMay21Fundraiser. General admission is $25; first responders and kids are free. Cornhole competition is $40 per person, two people per team. Registration and networking is from noon to 12:30 p.m.; ceremony and speech is from 12:30 to 1 p.m.; event activities and networking are from 1 to 5 p.m.
