Bucks County Jewish Festival set for May 15

Enjoy crafts, food, culture and more at Bucks County Community College

Community members are invited to the free Bucks County Jewish Festival on Sunday, May 15, from noon to 3 p.m. at Bucks County Community College, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown.

The event features an array of activities, with something for every age, including arts and crafts, live DJ music, a rock wall, a book nook with PJ Library and jkidphilly, kosher food, a kosher wine tasting and more.

“This festival is truly a staple of Jewish community in Bucks County,” said Howard Greenberg, chair of the Bucks County Kehillah and co-chair of the festival, along with Shari Wohl. “It is a fun event for the whole family to enjoy, and an opportunity for the community to connect with the incredible synagogues, Jewish organizations and resources that Bucks has to offer.”

“We look forward to bringing the community together to experience this beloved festival again in Bucks County,” said Kehillah coordinator Carrie Matez. “For more than 20 years, this festival has been a wonderful opportunity to learn and meet many Jewish organizations from across the Greater Philadelphia community while enjoying fun, games, music, food and cultural experiences.”

Vendors scheduled to attend the Bucks County Jewish Festival include artisan jewelry, wood crafts, Judaica crafts, artwork and handcrafted candles.

Entrance to the festival is free, however guests are encouraged to register in advance to expedite the check-in process upon arrival. Learn more at jewishphilly.org/bucksfestival
