Middletown Township Parks & Recreation’s Summer Rec Basketball is back to its normal schedule this year. The season takes place at Firefighters’ Park starting Monday, June 13 and running through Thursday, July 28. Sign up by May 14 to avoid the late registration fee.
Summer Rec Basketball is organized pickup ball. This program is open to boys and girls ages 8-17 and intended for beginners to advanced players. All of the games are played at night on outdoor courts. The league is co-ed. Teams are assigned and schedules made based on age. Each team plays twice a week on a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday cycle.
Registration fee is $83 for residents; $97 for non-residents. After May 14, the price is $103 for residents; $117 for non-residents.
No team registrations are allowed. When registering, you can fill out a blank space to let organizers know any friends your child would like to play with. While requests are taken, it’s not guaranteed that all requests will be granted.
