The Newtown Chamber Orchestra is performing the classic family-friendly tale Peter and the Wolf on Sunday, May 15, at 4 p.m. at the historic Newtown Theatre. With music by Sergei Prokofiev and words by Ogden Nash, the story is narrated by NCO board of trustees member Tim Bryan.
Doors open at 3 p.m. for the instrument zoo. Children are invited to design a cover for the program, with more information available here. The entry form must be received by May 9.
