Grundy Museum and Grundy Library are partnering with Pennsbury Manor in providing “Grab & Grow” seed starter kits for all ages.

Each kit contains everything needed to start beans, cucumbers, basil, sunflowers, zinnias and pumpkins. Also included is a plant growth chart, a coloring bookmark, a book reading list, a Pennsbury Manor Scavenger Hunt, historical gardening information and a few fun extras, too. As an added bonus, Pennsbury Manor has included one free admission to their grounds as part of the kit.

Kits will be available for curbside pickup at the Grundy Library and at the Pennsbury Manor Visitor Center starting Wednesday, April 27. Call for curbside pickup service at the library (215-788-7891) during regular library hours: Monday-Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pennsbury Manor hours are Tuesday-Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

While you start your gardens at home, both organizations will also be using the kits to grow seedlings, which will be planted on the grounds of the Grundy Campus in Bristol Borough and in the Historic Garden at Pennsbury Manor. Residents are invited to visit each site and watch them grow.

Visit grundymuseum.org, grundylibrary.org and pennsburymanor.org for more information.
