The first annual Warminster Food Bank Donation Dash 5K Run & Walk is taking place Saturday, May 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Warminster Community Park, 1100 Veterans Way, Warminster.
Cost is $25. Participants will receive an event T-shirt. This will be a timed and sanctioned 5K race. Click here to register online by the deadline of May 4, at 11:59 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Warminster Food Bank, which serves over 650 families per month in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
“We were looking for an event that would help raise funds to support our mission and be a fun day out for all involved,” said Mike Cerino, director of the food bank. “We decided on a 5K Run & Walk and invite runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to come out and take part in the first of many Donation Dash 5K Runs & Walks.”
