Area families recently attended the Easter Eggstravaganza, hosted by the Playwicki Farm Foundation at the 100-acre historic farm, located at 2350 Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville, over the holiday weekend.
Attendees enjoyed food trucks and food vendors, disc jockey music, children’s games, including a moon bounce and knuckleball, face painting, balloon art, crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny and more.

The event raised funds for the farm foundation and was used as a forum to sign up volunteers to assist at the farm.
“For some people, volunteering is about giving, but for us, it’s a way of living,” said Freeman.
Some volunteering requires special skills from structural engineering, restoration architecture, museum layout, stone masonry, grant writing and more. Those interested in volunteering can contact Freeman at 215-357-7300, Ext. 326 or [email protected].
