Susan G. Komen recently announced that the 2022 Komen East Pennsylvania More Than Pink Walk is coming to Parx Casino, 2999 Street Road in Bensalem, on May 8.
“We are excited about this new partnership with Parx Casino and the generous support it is providing for this year’s More Than Pink Walk,” said Suzanne Corson, state executive director for Pennsylvania. “For the first time ever, there is no fee to participate in the walk, and we hope that will allow even more survivors, thrivers and those impacted by breast cancer to participate.”
The walk takes place on Mother’s Day. Parx Casino has free, on-site parking and will host the walk on its thoroughbred racetrack at Parx Racing.

Komen and pleased to underwrite the costs of the More Than Pink Walk so that funds raised can support Komen’s mission and help breast cancer patients,” said Carrie Nork Minelli, director of public relations, Parx Casino. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the racetrack in May.”
The Power of ONE Week — a week’s worth of events to honor those who have been impacted by breast cancer — will precede the walk on May 8.
