Chair Yoga with Elda: Tuesday, April 26, at noon, via Zoom. Join for some gentle stretches from the comfort of home.
Mapping the Future of Humanity: Tuesday, April 26, at 2 p.m. Zoom, no camera. Join bestselling author and global strategist Parag Khanna for a conversation about his latest book MOVE that explores how our rapidly changing world may foretell a nomadic future for us all. Following the conversation will be a brief Q&A session.
Spring Has Sprung…And So Has Lighter Eating: Tuesday, April 26, at 6 p.m. In this interactive virtual program, Kathy Wolper, president/owner of Kitchen Wizards, presents some lighter fare, including roasted asparagus and chilled strawberry soup. You’ll receive the ingredient list about a week in advance in case you want to cook along from home. You’ll receive the link to join the program about two hours before the event.
Bored? In-person Games for Adults!: Wednesday, April 27, at 6:30 p.m. In-person. Spaces are limited to the maximum number of people who can play a particular game.
Thursday Movie Club: Thursday, April 28, at 10:15 a.m. In-person. Join for West Side Story. No registration needed. Masks optional. Drop in for some popcorn and fun.
Lighthouse Drawing Class: Thursday, April 28, at 6:30 p.m. Join art instructor Anita Thompson as she teaches participants how to draw a lighthouse scene. This is an intergenerational program, recommended for ages 7-adult. Patrons will provide their own supplies, including one sheet 7×5 mixed media paper (or 8.5×11 copy paper), 6B pencil and a regular pencil with an eraser. Virtual.
Barks and Books: Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m. Lucy and Jo will visit for children to read to. Lucy loves to hear stories.
