E-waste recycling event in Northampton

Northampton Township’s 2022 E-Waste Recycling Collection is set for April 23, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Council Rock High School South, upper back parking lot, located between the football and baseball fields. Drop off your electronics for environmentally safe and secure recycling. This event is hosted by Tech Collect Pros, a local e-waste recycling company.

Acceptable items include the following:

Computers
Laptops
Tablets
Keyboards/speakers/mice
Telephones
Televisions
Printers/scanners/fax
Flat screen monitors
CRT monitors
DVD players/VCRs
Stereo equipment
UPS/back-up batteries
Wire/cables/power strips
Routers/modems/switches
Hard drives/solid-state drives
Cell phones
CD players/MP3 players
Servers/data center equipment
Game consoles
Computer components
Circuit boards
Video tapes/cassette tapes
Back-up tapes
CDs/DVDs/floppy disks
Record players
AV equipment/camera equipment

All of these items can be accepted for free recycling, except for televisions and CRT monitors, which cost $30 per unit, cash only.

Light bulbs/lamps
Medical equipment
Paints/chemicals
Vacuum cleaners
Propane tanks
Dehumidifiers
