Latin festival on May 14

A portion of proceeds from the event in Morrisville will go to Immigrant Rights Action

The Falls Banquet by EventRoostr is hosting Bucks County’s first Latin Music Festival on Saturday, May 14, from 4-10 p.m. at 80 W M Y Lane, Morrisville.

Headliners are Puerto Rican star Tony Vega and Krency Garcia, aka El Prodigio. Vega is an award-winning musician whose album Uno Mismo went platinum, while Garcia is a famous merengue tipico accordionist from the Dominican Republic.

In addition to music, there will be Latino-themed food and vendors. Beverages will be available.

The event is sponsored in part by a grant from Bucks County Tourism, one of only two grants given by the organization to for-profit organizations.

Early-bird tickets are $35 per person and early bird VIP tickets are $75 per person.

The festival will be held rain or shine.

The Falls Banquet by EventRoostr is seeking vendors for the festival. Anyone interested may contact the venue at contact@thefallsbanquet.com or 215-295-1177.

Ten percent of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Immigrant Rights Action, a nonprofit that educates and organizes immigrants and allies with the goal of building relationships and empowering change. The organization connects immigrants with community resources, provides legal referrals and provides small grants to assist with the cost of deportation defense. Immigrant Rights Action is accredited by the DOJ to provide low-cost assistance with legal immigration matters. For more information, visit immigrantrightsaction.org.
