Sesame Place in Langhorne announced that Big Bird’s Tour Bus is welcoming its first passengers on Friday, April 8, in an exclusive event for 2022 season pass members.
Located in the Sesame City section of the park, it features the one and only Big Bird driving a double-decker bus around a Sesame Street-inspired cityscape with some of his furry friends. All guests are invited to attend the ride’s official grand opening ceremony on Saturday, April 9, where they can also meet Big Bird himself.
Additionally, guests can enjoy Elmo’s Eggstravaganza events:
– Easter Bunny Picture Patch: Guests can journey to the Easter Bunny in his Carrot Patch, where he’ll greet guests and take photos
– Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt: On this interactive adventure, guests who find the six giant Easter eggs hidden throughout the park receive a special prize
– Furry Friends Bunny Hop Dance Party: Guests are encouraged to join friends from Sesame Street as they jump, bounce and hop along to their favorite tunes
– Sesame Street Party Parade: The Neighborhood Street Party Parade invites guests to experience an energetic block party down Sesame Street, featuring Elmo, Count von Count, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and Abby Cadabby
– Passover Event: With assistance from favorite furry friends, a local cantor hosts special Passover presentations and sing-alongs on Sunday, April 17 and Monday, April 18, in Sesame Neighborhood
Live shows include:
– The Magic of Art: With the help of her friends, Abby Cadabby learns that art comes in all shapes and sizes as she creates her own magical masterpiece for Sesame Street’s big art show
– Let’s Play Together: Guests can participate in a heartwarming show about the beauty of friendship as Elmo and friends play, sing and dance during their playdate
Additionally, guests can enjoy a buffet-style meal with Elmo, Abby and the Easter Bunny, as well as photo opportunities and a special Easter storytime. Additional fee and reservations required.
