Sesame Place in Langhorne announced a series of hiring events in anticipation of an influx of guests during the spring and summer operating seasons. The Sesame Street-themed park has a goal of hiring 900 employees, called Ambassadors.
“Working at Sesame Place isn’t just another summer job,” said park president Cathy Valeriano. “As an Ambassador, you’ll create amazing memories that will last a lifetime for both you and our guests.”
Open positions include food and beverage service Ambassador, park quality Ambassador, photographer, public safety officer and ride operator. Part-time positions are available, with the potential for full-time hours and year-round employment. If hired, applicants can earn up to $15/hour and may also be eligible for a $500 hiring bonus.
Other perks include: free park admission; discounted park admission tickets and passes for family and friends; scholarship opportunities; and exclusive employee events and giveaways.
Forbes recently recognized SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, which includes Sesame Place, as one of America’s Best Large Employers of 2022.
Job fairs take place Saturdays, April 9 and 23, and May 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Candidates have the opportunity to meet with department representatives, learn about the different positions available and interview the same day, with the potential to be hired on the spot. Job fairs are held at Sesame Place in the Human Resources building.
There is also an in-park job fair on Friday, May 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., where interested applicants have the opportunity to speak with various department leaders while enjoying rides, refreshments and music, raffles and meet-and-greets with characters.
Sesame Place is also holding two virtual information sessions on Wednesday, March 30 and Thursday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m. Interested applicants can learn more about available opportunities online.
