Bensalem students audition, perform in BCMEA Festival

Young musicians from Bensalem High School and Shafer were selected to the Bucks County Music Educators Association County-Wide Festival

Thirty-one Bensalem High School and 16 Robert K. Shafer Middle School music students successfully auditioned and were selected to the Bucks County Music Educators Association County-Wide Festival that took place March 17-19.

The audition is highly competitive and many of them placed very high in rank. These young musicians had the opportunity to work with some of the best conductors in the tristate area and perform high-quality literature with some of the best student musicians in Bucks County.

The BHS students are: Carley Angelitis; Sammy Bajek; Kevin Blickley; Scott Blickley; Melayna Brooks; Luki Chen; Josif Collazo; Charlotte Crawford; Maria Davis; JJ Delgado; Sam Flynn; Ethan Hinshaw; Audrey Hyers; Patrick Jenkins; Jenni Kolano; Mirabel Kravchenko; Nikki LaFontano; Maggie MacAdams; Kasta Marigna; Dawn Meo; Emiliano Quinones; Anthonie Ramos; Shaela Roberts; Kim Salamatin; Dennis Shalimov; Jenna Marie Sullivan; Anastasia Tokarski; Maddie Wagner; Theresa Widmeier-Beem; Ivan Xiao; and Saige Zebrowski.

The Shafer students are: Alexa Mitchell; Sam Rudolph; AJ Nuzzi; Nishanth Bethala; Troy Burroughs; Landon Nerenberg; John Capobianco; Julia Hutton; Tatyanne Figueroa-Rivera; Aryanna Rodriguez; Tierney Sayers; Lucciana Krecko; Kayley Czeipiel; Samantha Feeley; Abbie Kyniv; and Kaylee Martinez.
