St. Mary Medical Center is offering a free, virtual seminar about joint replacement surgery on Wednesday, Feb. 23, from 5 to 6 p.m. A live Q&A session will follow the presentation, which is open to the public.
The seminar is presented by John Avallone, DO, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery at St. Mary Medical Center. Avallone will provide an overview of surgical options for reducing joint pain and then answer questions from attendees.
Avallone is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgical Residency Program at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg. He’s board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Osteopathic Surgeons and has earned fellowship status through that board.
The event will be presented as Microsoft Teams. To learn more and register, click here.
