The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging is seeking volunteers to help fight hunger among seniors. Volunteers are needed to deliver meals from local senior centers to homebound seniors living in local communities. Currently, the greatest need is in Middletown, Trevose and Bensalem.
Qualified individuals will be reliable, have their own transportation (valid driver’s license, registration and auto insurance) and a friendly disposition. Volunteers must be available between the hours of 10 a.m. to noon on a weekday. Volunteer commitment is a minimum of one day a week for one and a half hours.
Mileage reimbursement for meal delivery is available.
