Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, 300 E. Winchester Ave. in Langhorne, welcomed Dr. Tej Kokroo, MD, MBA, as its new medical director. The skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
Kokroo is board-certified in internal medicine. He is affiliated with Trinity Health’s St. Mary Medical Center, serving as the chairman of its Quality Health Alliance, a clinically integrated network and accountable care organization built in partnership with the hospital. He is also associate medical director at St. Mary Rehabilitation Hospital.
Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center maintains a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Kokroo’s appointment follows an ownership change at the center, which is part of Oxford Enhanced Senior Living (formerly the Attleboro Community). A significant upgrade is planned at the facility.
“It’s an exciting time at Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center,” said Danielle Koons, regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports the facility. “Dr. Kokroo is highly respected throughout the area for his medical expertise in both acute and post-acute settings and his business background. My colleagues and I at Marquis have known him for years. He is the perfect fit to lead Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in this new chapter.”
Spanning 18 acres, Oxford Enhanced Senior Living also includes Oxford Crossing, a personal care component featuring a memory care unit, as well as independent living apartments. Together, the facilities offer 415 skilled nursing and personal care units.
