HealthLink Dental Clinic, which provides free dental services to low-income residents and veterans of Bucks and Montgomery counties, recently announced that it has sold its 1775 Street Road, Southampton headquarters of 20 years.
In an official statement, board of directors president Rick James and interim executive director Jenny Salisbury said this “decision was not made lightly.”
“The one constant during this time has been the desire to use our resources to provide free services to patients in the community. The sale of the building will generate funds to enable us to continue to carry on this work,” they said. “Currently, we are exploring rental space within Bucks and Montgomery counties that will make us more accessible to the growing number of individuals in the community who are eligible to receive our services. As we are looking at potential clinic locations, we are focused on staying in areas where many of our patients live and ensuring that access to public transportation is nearby.
“HealthLink remains committed in our mission to provide free dental care to low-income earning adults and U.S. military veterans, as well as oral health education to the community.”
