The Township Library of Lower Southampton, 1983 Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville, announced the following upcoming events:
Chair Yoga with Elda: Tuesday, Feb. 15, at noon, via Zoom. Join for some gentle stretches from the comfort of home.
RPG: Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 p.m. Go on adventures in Dungeons & Dragons. Once you’ve registered, library staff will contact you with further details. All experience levels are welcome. Create a character or find premade characters for free online.
River Painting with Anita: Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 4:30 p.m. Recommended for ages 7-18. Presented by Anita Thompson. Guided by instruction, participants will create an abstract inspired painting of the river and river rocks. Supplies provided by the library. Zoom link will be emailed once you register. Kits with supplies will be available to pick up closer to the event date.
Bored? Games for Adults: Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 p.m. Learn a new board game. Register to receive the link for this virtual program. Spaces are limited to the maximum number of people who can play that particular game. You will need to set up an account at boardgamearena.com. This can be done ahead of time, or library staff can walk you through it before the program, between 6 and 6:30 p.m.
Minecraft Makers: Thursday, Feb. 17, at 4:30 p.m. for grades 1 and up; and at 6:30 p.m. for grades 5-12. Sign up for the library’s Minecraft Realms server and join each week to hang out with friends and build. Join the library’s Discord server to voice chat with friends as you play. Joining Discord is optional. The library uses the Bedrock edition, which is compatible with Windows 10, mobile devices, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
Barks and Books: Saturday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. Lucy and Jo will visit for children to read to.
