Women’s Animal Center participating in #BettyWhiteChallenge

In honor of the late actress’ birthday on Jan. 17, animal shelters are accepting donations for pets in need - something White was passionate about

Women’s Animal Center in Bensalem is joining animal welfare organizations by participating in the #BettyWhiteChallenge in honor of Betty White’s 100th birthday on Jan. 17. White demonstrated a lifelong commitment to helping animals in need through her generous support to animal shelters across the country, as well as her passionate and longstanding advocacy on behalf of animal welfare causes.

In honor of White’s 100th birthday, Woman’s Animal Center is urging residents to consider a tribute gift to support the safe shelter, nourishment, and medical and compassionate care of shelter pets waiting for their forever homes.

Founded in 1869 as America’s First Animal Shelter, Women’s Animal Center honors the legacy of its founders by ensuring animals are treated humanely and with kindness.
