Grundy Library launches digitized Bristol High School yearbook collection

Flip through memories spanning 1938 through 2017

Class of 1946 seniors (from top L clockwise): Andrew Leszak “Andy,” Eleanor Long “El,” Charles Margerum “Shorty” and Barbara J. Mager “Mager”

The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library announced the release of the latest addition to its Digital Collections website – digitized versions of Bristol High School yearbooks dating from 1938 through 2017. Each page of the book has been scanned and uploaded, allowing residents to flip through a year as if they were holding the book themselves.

Look for your own photograph or a beloved relative within these pages, reminisce about your high school days in Bristol, or complete a genealogy project and discover photographs of your grandmother when she was a high school senior in 1945.

Yearbooks published within the last four years will not be posted online in order to protect the privacy of minors, as some students within these yearbooks would still be underage. Each year, Grundy will upload the next in the series. For example, in 2022 it will upload the 2018 yearbook.

Access to this collection can be obtained by visiting archive.grundylibrary.org then clicking on “Collections.” Those with questions can call the Grundy Library Service Desk at 215-788-7891, Ext. 24 or email [email protected].
