SCORE Bucks County is offering three free 90-minute webinars in January in an effort to keep the local business community informed.
The first, “Plan Your Website for Success,” takes place Jan. 11, at 11:30 a.m. This webinar provides participants with a solid plan for their business website. After this webinar, attendees will have a better understanding of: their website’s audience; feature and functionality needs; content planning; how to choose the right platform; and best practices for online success.
On Jan. 18, “Video Production for Digital Marketing Efforts” takes place at 11:30 a.m. This webinar helps attendees develop their unique story, record their story and publish it to the web. Participants will hear an overview of: storytelling methods that professionals use; simple methods of creating video from a mobile device; how to post videos to the web for distribution over multiple delivery portals; lighting, sound and camera placement tips; and interacting with already-established companies that create professional 4K videos for the web.
On Jan. 25, “How to Navigate the SBA to Obtain Financing” takes place at 11:30 a.m. The Small Business Administration offers potential borrowers direction in finding a lender and guidance on what their responsibilities may be. In this webinar, attendees will learn: which SBA lenders are right for them; what are micro lenders and what do they offer; what’s the difference between 7a and 504 loans; and other SBA resources available online to prepare for meeting with a lender.
