Residents invited to try YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon counties for free

Both are opening their doors to the community through Dec. 31; free virtual wellness programs are available through Jan. 31

YMCA of Bucks County, along with Hunterdon County YMCA, is providing free opportunities in December and January for community members to connect and engage with others and meet social, physical and mental wellbeing needs.

Through Dec. 31, both are opening their doors and inviting the community to try the Y for free. With branches in Newtown, Warminster, Doylestown and Quakertown, and Flemington and Annandale in New Jersey, these Ys are in a unique position to impact community health and wellness. The goal is to help the community get back to life and improved health and wellbeing following the challenges of the past 20 months.

In addition, they’re providing free virtual wellness for the entire community through Jan. 31. Y Wellness 24/7 is a unique virtual platform that provides thousands of weekly live and on-demand health and wellness programs for all abilities and interests. Everyone is invited to create a free account using keycode “HERE FOR YOU” to access Y Wellness 24/7 from their home, office or anywhere, anytime.

“The Y is here for our community. We understand the physical, mental and emotional toll the last year and a half have taken on members of our community,” said Zane Moore, president/CEO of YMCA of Bucks County and Hunterdon County YMCA. “We are inviting our communities to prioritize their health and wellbeing and utilize our Y to get started, both in-person and online. Our caring, knowledgeable staff will meet you where you are and help and support you along the way.”
