Women’s Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, is transforming its shelter play yards on Saturday, Dec. 4, into a Reindeer Games Sniffari Play Zone. Each play yard will feature different holiday-themed sensory stations for the adoptable shelter dogs to explore, providing them a little extra physical and mental enrichment for the day.
WAC volunteers will provide a Sniffari adventure from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with enrichment stations set up for each shelter dog to explore before their end of adventure decompression walks around the building. A specially-made eggnog square and frozen flavored treat awaits all of the shelter dogs in their kennels.
Under the supervision of the canine behavior education coordinator, staff and volunteers of Women’s Animal Center work together to enrich the lives of dogs living in the shelter. Shelter dogs are provided one-on-one time and attention, and stimulation and activity during their temporary stay at the shelter.
All of the shelter dogs participating in the Reindeer Games Sniffari Play Zone are available for adoption.
