The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its 2021 Champions of Commerce award ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Falls Banquet by EventRoostr in Morrisville. The winners are:

Community Service Award: Family Service Association of Bucks County

Economic Impact Award: Capital Health

Nonprofit Award: Woods Services

Start-Up Award: GYMGUYZ

Young Professional Award: Chichi E. Ahia, SIOR, executive director, principal and broker of record, SVN Ahia Commercial Real Estate

Emerging Technologies Award: TMA Bucks

“The past year and a half has taught us that technology is a perfectly acceptable alternative to the in-person work and meetings that use time, fuel and money,” said TMA Bucks executive director Stephen Noll. “TMA Bucks has been showing employers and workers the advantages of remote work since 1999, when the technology was far more primitive and less abundant than what we have today. I only wish it hadn’t taken a global pandemic for commuters and employers to finally get the message that telecommuting is working.”
