Fitzpatrick helped introduce a resolution to recognize National School Psychology Week

U.S. Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick, Jimmy Panetta, John Katko and Judy Chu introduced a resolution to recognize the week of Nov. 8 as National School Psychology Week. This resolution seeks to honor the more than 35,000 practicing school psychologists in the United States for their work in providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment for all students.

“School psychologists work tirelessly to ensure our children are provided with the tools and resources they need to thrive, and they deserve our support,” Fitzpatrick said. “I am proud to introduce this resolution alongside my bipartisan colleagues to recognize the vital role our school psychologists play in the success of students across the country.”

This resolution is supported by the National Association of School Psychologists, which represents more than 25,000 school psychologists who work with students, educators and families to support the academic achievement, positive behavior and mental wellness of all students, especially those who struggle with barriers to learning.
