A Holiday Chili Luncheon and Quilt Raffle is set for Saturday, Dec. 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Newtown Presbyterian Church, 25 N. Chancellor St. in Newtown.
Join for chili (meat or vegetarian), cornbread, salad, dessert and beverage. Tickets available at the door. Cost for adults is $12; children under 12 are $5; ages 3 and under are free. Take-out orders available.
Ticket sale proceeds benefit the maintenance and beautification of the Historic Presbyterian Church on Sycamore Street, which was built in 1769. This church is used during the summer for Sunday worship and for special occasions.
For safety, all food offered for in-house dining will be individually packaged, and disposable containers and utensils will be utilized.
Additionally, the Eternal Quilters will raffle off a handmade quilt in The Log Cabin pattern.
