Foundations Community Partnership announced $60,000 in grant funding to 17 nonprofit organizations that are making a difference in the lives of Bucks County youth and their families.

“It’s more important now than ever to support local nonprofits doing the heavy lifting during these uncertain times,” said Tom Hanna, chair of FCP’s board of directors. “Supporting innovative ideas and impactful programs has been at the core of our grantmaking efforts for the past 15 years.”

The grant funding included Partnership in Youth Services awards to these 15 nonprofit organizations:

– A Moment of Magic
– Autism Cares Foundation
– Bristol Riverside Theatre
– Bucks County Community College Foundation
– Cancer Support Community Greater Philadelphia
– Christ’s Home
– Destined for a Dream
– First Tee – Greater Philadelphia
– Immigrant Rights Action
– Lenape Valley Foundation
– Maternity Care Coalition
– Minding Your Mind
– Sensory Friendly Cities Inc.
– The Next Step Programs
– YMCA of Bucks County

Technical Assistance Grants were also awarded to the Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless and the Bucks-Mont Collaborative. The Coalition will use the grant to support the organization’s strategic planning efforts. The Bucks-Mont Collaborative will use the grant for its “Racial Equity Learning Community,” a cross-county, multi-sector initiative for organizations in Bucks and Montgomery counties to come together to learn, build relationships, and take action that deepens organizational and collective capacity to advance racial equity and justice.

FCP has been supporting Bucks County nonprofit organizations serving children, young adults and families since 2007. FCP has awarded more than $6 million in grants and scholarships in Bucks County since that year.
