Northampton Township’s Veterans Day ceremony is set for Thursday, Nov. 11, at 5 p.m. in front of the Township Administration Building, 55 Township Road in Richboro.
A Color Guard and keynote speaker will be in attendance, along with township officials and other dignitaries. Residents are invited to honor veterans.
There will also be 15 Memorial Paver bricks to unveil at the Veterans Memorial Walk of Honor. Two of them represent recipients of the purple heart twice, with one of them also being a bronze star recipient. In addition, one of the bricks represents a nephew that was killed in action in 2004 and was also a recipient of a purple heart. The Paver Program was started in 2017 and purchased or donated bricks have been added each year since then.
