Middletown Township’s first budget workshop for the 2022 budget was held on Monday, Oct. 18, and the second was on Oct. 25. Following these meetings, the township will present the budget at the board of supervisors meeting on Nov. 15 for preliminary approval.
The 2022 budget will be submitted upon final approval by the board of supervisors in December.
Middletown Township was recently awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association for its 2021 budget for the third consecutive year. This award represents a significant achievement reflective of a commitment by the township to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting. The 2022 budget is being prepared in accordance with GFOA’s criteria.
