Veterans, military and first responders will have the chance to tie the knot for free next month during a Vows and Veterans expo hosted by Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans’ Court Linda Bobrin, Esq.
Former U.S. Rep. and Under-Secretary of the Army Patrick Murphy will officiate the weddings Nov. 12 in the courtyard of the Bucks County Administration Building, 55 E. Court St., Doylestown. The event runs from noon to 2 p.m.
At least one person in the couple must be a veteran, serving in the military or a first responder.
Accompanying the free wedding ceremonies will be a photographer, flowers, live music, party favors, lunch and cake.
Couples who wish to participate in the free ceremony must submit a valid marriage application by Nov. 9. For more information, email [email protected].

In addition, until Veterans Day, the Register of Wills is offering discounted marriage licenses to veterans and first responders for $20.50 after a partial refund.
