Lenape Valley Foundation to hold workshop on navigating divorce

This virtual session is set for Nov. 18, via Zoom

Lenape Valley Foundation is offering a free virtual workshop focused on educating parents, caregivers and professionals about issues related to helping children and adolescents navigate the transition of their parents’ divorce on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 5 to 6 p.m. via Zoom.

Facilitated by Alison Blum, a licensed marriage and family therapist at LVF with extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and their families, this workshop will provide information on common symptoms, diagnoses and struggles children and teens deal with as a result of their parents’ divorce and how parents can help to support their children, while also adjusting themselves. During the 90-minute session, a presentation will also be offered by LVF staff member Alexandra Pattison, an outpatient therapist.

The workshop is free, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and information. Register at lenapevf.org/freeworkshops. Visit lenapevf.org or call 215-345-5300 for more information on the organization.
