Halloween is the perfect season for pumpkins, parties and pets. The Family Service Association of Bucks County Pet Pantry, in conjunction with Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, invites you to dress your pet in costume and join for some spooky fun and a great cause at the “Family Service Pet Pantry Spooktacular,” set for Saturday, Oct. 30, from noon to 5 p.m. at Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company, 909 Ray Ave. in Croydon.

Admission is free, but attendees are asked to donate unopened dog or cat food, or new pet supplies at the door. Guests can also make a monetary contribution upon entry, if they wish. In return, the brewery will provide a coupon for donors to enjoy a discounted beverage.

Launched earlier this year, the Pet Pantry is a response to many families and individuals, who utilize the Family Service Food Pantry in Langhorne, but have expressed a need to sustain their pets as well as themselves and loved ones. Supported only through monetary and in-kind donations, the Pet Pantry is available to those in need, as a means of providing the essential food and supplies their pets require.

The event will feature a costume parade and many other fun pet-friendly activities. All donations will go directly to the Pet Pantry. To learn more, contact Matthew Lutz at [email protected] or 215-757-6916.
