The Township Library of Lower Southampton, 1983 Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville, announced the following events:
Chair Yoga with Elda: This virtual event takes place Oct. 26, at noon via Zoom. Join for some gentle stretches from the comfort of home.
RPG: Join Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. to go on adventures in Dungeons & Dragons. Once you’ve registered, the library will contact you with further details. All experience levels are welcome. Create a character or find pre-made characters for free online.
Decoding the Mysteries of Cats or Why Cats Do What They Do: Join animal behaviorist Stephen Quandt on Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. for a 30-minute presentation about decoding the mysteries of cats and why cats do what they do, followed by a 30-minute Q&A where you can find out what you’ve always been dying to know about your feline friends. Quandt will explain cat behavior from the perspective of the evolutionary and adaptive forces that help shape their lives.
Skull Circuits: Join Ms. Brittany on Oct. 27, at 4:30 p.m. via Zoom to make a light-up paper craft skull for spooky season. Sign up and pick up a kit. Grades 5-12. Registration required.
Minecraft Makers: This takes place Oct. 28, at 4:30 p.m. for grades 1 and up; 6:30 p.m. for grades 5-12. Sign up for the library’s Minecraft Realms server and join each week to hang out with friends and build. Join the library’s Discord server to voice chat with friends as you play. Joining Discord is optional. The library uses the Bedrock edition, which is compatible with Windows 10, mobile devices, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
Barks and Books: Lucy & Jo will be visiting for children to read to on Oct. 30, at 10:30 a.m. They’ll be using the outdoor benches by the front doors.
