The Cairn University School of Music is hosting its first Instrumental Festival on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Woodwinds, strings and brass players in grades 7-12 and their teachers are invited to take part in this free event at Chatlos Chapel, located on campus at 200 Manor Ave. in Langhorne.

The day begins with a workshop focused on rehearsal techniques and includes coaching and rehearsals in small group settings. These culminate in student performances of chamber works learned and rehearsed together. Enjoy performances from Cairn faculty and benefit from a demonstration of how to rehearse and learn new music.
