Middletown Township is hosting a pumpkin decorating contest. Enter a no-carve, decorated pumpkin that you have created in any theme you choose.
Entries will be on display in the lobby of the Middletown Township Municipal Center for the last two weeks of October. All participants will receive a thank you gift for participating. Winners in each age group and category will also receive a ribbon and a prize of two tickets to the Regal UA Oxford Valley movie theater.
Register and drop off pumpkins by Oct. 15, at 4 p.m. at 3 Municipal Way. Free to enter.
Age groups are 1-5, 6-10, 11-13 and 14-17. Categories are Most Creative, Scariest and Funniest.
Winners will be announced Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. during a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. for all who entered. Light refreshments will be served and costumes are welcome. All gifts and prizes will be given at the reception. Pumpkins can be taken home Oct. 28 after the reception, or Oct. 29, by 4:30 p.m. to be home for Halloween weekend.
