HealthLink Dental Clinic is the recipient of donations collected this quarter from the Bucks County chapter of 100+ Women Who Care, a philanthropic group of more than 230 women who give nearly $100,000 annually to Bucks County nonprofit organizations.
Last month, members of the group voted to direct more than $23,000 to HealthLink to support the organization’s mission of providing free dental care to low-wage working adults and U.S. military veterans living in either Bucks or Montgomery county, as well as free family and community-based oral health education to the community at large.
“This is what happens when a group of determined women get together and decide to do something good for others in their community,” said Lynne Kelleher, founder of the Bucks County chapter of 100+ Women Who Care. “The concept is brilliantly simple and the impact is simply amazing. I am so proud of what we accomplish and am thrilled to support an organization like HealthLink Dental Clinic.”
This year marks HealthLink’s 20th anniversary. In honor of this milestone, HealthLink’s board of directors and the Vesta Fund have collaborated to offer a matching gift challenge. Through this challenge, all donations received from the 100+ Women Who Care will be matched dollar for dollar.
