Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center receives $50,000 in tech upgrades

The nonprofit was chosen from a group of over 30 applicants

The Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center, 580 Delmont Ave., Warminster, is receiving a $50,000 tech upgrade donated by Libertas Consulting, LLC, Low Voltage Nation and The Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce.

The nonprofit organization, which serves those 55 and older, was chosen from a group of over 30 applicants as the winner of the tech upgrade offered by Libertas Consulting, LLC, Low Voltage Nation and The Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce.

The goal of the initiative was to help a deserving nonprofit organization better utilize technology to fulfill its mission. Access to technology has been especially important during the pandemic, with many organizations having to pivot in order to offer their services via the internet.

The Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center will use the upgrade to improve its IT infrastructure and computer security, as well as provide more technology programming and programming via Zoom for its community members.
