Lenape Valley Foundation hosts workshop on challenging, defiant behaviors

This Zoom presentation is set for Sept. 23, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Lenape Valley Foundation is offering a free virtual workshop on Thursday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom, that focuses on educating parents and caregivers about issues related to challenging and defiant behaviors such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder.

Facilitated by Alison Blum, a licensed marriage and family therapist at LVF with extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and their families, this workshop provides information on symptoms, interventions and self-care for caregivers for this challenging diagnosis. During the 90-minute session, a presentation will also be offered by LVF staff member Alexandra Pattison, an outpatient therapist.

The workshop is free, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and information. To register, visit lenapevf.org/freeworkshops. To learn more about Lenape Valley Foundation and its services, visit lenapevf.org or call 215-345-5300.
