Due to the rise in new COVID-19 cases in Bucks County and throughout the region over the past few weeks, Northampton Township updated its mask policy to align with CDC recommendations.
Effectively immediately, the following protocols are in place:
– Attendees at all public township meetings are required to wear masks at all times
– The number of people permitted in meeting rooms will be restricted to allow for appropriate social distancing and safety
– Accommodations will be in place to ensure everyone that would like to speak during public comment will get an opportunity
According to the CDC, Bucks County has been updated as an area of high spread of the COVID-19 delta variant. A high designation means the county has reached more than 100 new cases per 100,000 persons in the past seven days.
