Cairn University to hold annual Outstanding Young Christian Artist Competition

Winners will have the opportunity to play their chosen piece with Cairn University’s Symphony Orchestra at a later date

The Cairn University School of Music is hosting its annual Outstanding Young Christian Artist Competition on Saturday, Jan. 29 (snow date is Feb. 5), at Chatlos Chapel, located on campus at 200 Manor Ave. in Langhorne.

In this competition, high school students are invited to practice and perform one movement of a concerto, opera or oratorio excerpt, or other complete composition for soloist and orchestra. Competition winners will have the opportunity to play their chosen piece with Cairn University’s Symphony Orchestra at a later date.
