Lenape Valley Foundation to host workshop on eating disorders in children, teens

This virtual event is set for July 15

Lenape Valley Foundation is offering a free virtual workshop focused on educating parents and caregivers about issues related to unhealthy eating habits and eating disorders in children and teens. It will take place on Thursday, July 15, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Facilitated by Alison Blum, a licensed marriage and family therapist at LVF with extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and their families, the workshop will focus on defining eating disorders, treatments and interventions, as well as provide resources for support and treatments. During the 90-minute session, presentations will also be offered by LVF staff members Alexandra Pattison, an outpatient therapist, and Umadevi Nuthi, M.D., a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatry specialist.

The workshop is free, but registration is required to receive the Zoom link and information. To register, visit lenapevf.org/freeworkshops.
