Lenape Valley Foundation hosted its 12th annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 14, at Doylestown Country Club.

The event, chaired by LVF board member Robert Rogala, of Doylestown, attracted 115 golfers. Approximately $60,000 was raised to help to fund the expansion of LVF’s children’s services. This includes outfitting the recently-renovated children’s services wing in LVF’s Doylestown office, which allows the opportunity to serve more children in an environment designed specifically for their needs.

Since the number of families seeking help for their loved ones is ever-increasing, this expansion was desperately needed. LVF is particularly suited to meet this need with a cadre of child service experts in the fields of psychiatry, crisis services and outpatient therapy.

For more than 60 years, LVF has provided assistance to thousands of children, adults and families in Bucks County. LVF offers a comprehensive behavioral health system serving individuals within the service areas of mental health, intellectual disabilities and early intervention. The foundation’s mission is to partner with members of the community encountering mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental challenges as they pursue their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life.
