Fallsington Library announced the following upcoming events:

Brood X: Return of the 17 Year Cicadas – Every Tuesday in June, there will be a new Grab & Go kit featuring a Brood X-themed project. This week’s project is a Hide and Seek-ada game. Free. Ages 3 and up. Fun for teens and adults. First come, first served, until all 60 kits are grabbed, which usually takes a week. Cicada Tymbal Noisemaker projects are still available. Call the library during open hours to check if kits are still available.

Flower Power BEEnbag Toss Game Craft – The last in the Flower Power series, this kit contains everything needed to make your own Flower Power game. Free. Ages 3 and up. Fun for teens and adults. Call the library during open hours to check if kits are still available.

The Burrow Thrift & Gift Shop – Support the library at this ongoing fundraiser shop. Offered are new and gently used vintage, antique treasures, along with handmade crafts. Held from 9 a.m. to noon on second Saturdays, in the basement rummage room (walk alongside the ramp toward the back yard). Donations are accepted and can be left in the lobby during open hours. Limit donations to two boxes.

Science Grab & Go Craft Programs – Most Tuesdays this summer, a new kit will be put out at 6 p.m. Available until all are grabbed.

Summer Quest – Begins Saturday, June 19. The quest inspires kids (teens and adults too) to read and do fun activities all summer. Raffle prizes and trophies awarded at the end of the summer. Sign up and pick up a log at the library.

Cicada T-shirt sale – Support the library in style wearing a Brood X tee. Sizes range from youth small to ladies and adult 2XL. Youth and ladies are army green, adult tees are heathered army green. Cost is $15 for youth; $20 for adult. Library Book Drop Fox shirts are still available. All proceeds benefit the library.

Book Sale Room – Shop the used book sale and support the library. Donations are accepted of books in good condition. Material that sells best includes recent fiction (2017 and newer), recent craft books, children’s books, Blu-Rays and DVDs. The library cannot accept encyclopedias, magazines, VHS and cassette tapes, textbooks, technology books, damaged or mildewed books, or books with pet or smoke odor. Due to space limitations, the library can accept only two boxes of books at a time. Please do not leave books on the front step.

Register Receipt Fundraiser – Bring in your receipts from McCaffrey’s Food Markets or Brown Family ShopRite (Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills). Drop them into the jar at the library desk. The grocery stores will provide the library with a percentage of what you spend.

The Fallsington Library is located at 139 Yardley Avenue. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 2 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, from 2 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit fallsingtonlibrary.org or call 215-295-4449 for more information.
