Bucks County Wine Trail offers Passport to Bucks

Stop by five family-owned wineries for the chance to win a prize

The Bucks County Wine Trail, comprised of family-owned wineries, is again offering its popular Passport to Bucks wine tasting card.

Beginning June 1 and continuing through Aug. 31, wine enthusiasts can make a day, weekend or several outings of sampling locally-made wines at the five participating wineries: Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery, Crossing Vineyards and Winery, Rose Bank Winery, Rushland Ridge Vineyards and Sand Castle Winery.

Passport to Bucks cards are on sale now for $40 each. A limited quantity is available.

Each Passport card entitles the bearer to one of the following: a complimentary wine flight, wine tasting or micro tasting at each of the five participating wineries (type of wine samples available at winery’s discretion). New for 2021, cardholders can collect a unique wine glass charm from each winery (while supplies last).

This year’s Passport to Bucks wine samplings will largely be held outdoors at each winery. However, indoor service may also be available at customer’s request and as space permits. Groups of six or more should call the winery and make reservations prior to visiting.

Instead of a stamp, as is commonplace when passport-holders visit foreign countries, the Passport to Bucks bearer, with each winery visit, will have his or her card punched and receive the custom wine glass charm. Once all five wineries have been visited, the card will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win two cases of locally-made wine.

Wine enthusiasts can make passport stops at their own pace, over the course of a weekend or a few weekends this summer.

Passports can be purchased at each of the wineries, as well as Visit Bucks County. Visit buckscountywinetrail.com for more information.
