Cairn University, 200 Manor Ave., Langhorne, announced the new BA (Music) + MBA dual-level program. Offered by the School of Music, this five-year program offers the practice and expertise of a music degree with the business know-how of an MBA.
Cairn University’s dual-level programs save students both time and money. Students simultaneously work on a bachelor’s and master’s degree, enabling them to complete both in as few as five years. Additionally, students qualify for undergraduate scholarships and financial aid for all five years of study.
Participants of the BA (Music) + MBA program take courses such as music history and theory from the university’s distinguished School of Music professors. Through individual lessons and opportunities to perform on- and off-campus, students will hone their skills to become expert musicians. Participants will also take foundational and advanced business courses to prepare them with the skills, knowledge and connections needed for a successful career.
“This program opens a world of career opportunities for our students who are preparing for a new economy facing the arts,” said Dr. Benjamin Harding, dean of the School of Music. “We look forward to seeing how our students will take the knowledge and skills from this program and use it to thrive in the music industry.”
