The Bensalem Police are putting into service the new police ice cream bus, “Copsicle.” This new initiative will allow for a police officer in a police vehicle ice cream bus to go into the community and give away free ice cream to youth.
This initiative aims to help the police department form relationships and break down barriers with local youth.
“Copsicle” is a converted small school bus that was donated by the Bensalem Township School District. The department also received funds from the community coalition Building A Better Bensalem Together, as well as Creekside Apartments.
