Bensalem PAL basketball league resumes in June

Elementary, middle and high school options are available

The Bensalem Township Police Department is holding its annual PAL basketball league June 22-Aug. 5. The program is open to the first 200 Bensalem residents (boys and girls) entering grades 7-12 in the 2021-22 school year. Proof of residency must be provided upon request.

Program is free. Transportation not included. The program will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings at Bensalem Township Community Park.

Registration is open May 10-26, or until maximum capacity is reached.

Do not request to be placed on a specific team, with a specific coach or teammates. PAL will try to balance teams by skill level so all can have an enjoyable experience. It will also allow the stronger players to help and encourage those with less experience.

The PAL elementary basketball program runs June 21-Aug. 2. Top two teams will play Thursday, Aug. 5 in a championship game. Program open to the first 100 residents (boys and girls) entering grades 5-6 in the 2021-22 school year.

Program is free. Transportation not included. Proof of residency required. Games will take place Monday evenings at the park; times are to be determined. Possible times are 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Do not request that children be placed on teams together unless they are siblings.

Registration is online here, no exceptions. Click “Register Online,” create a family account and add each child.
