National Travel & Tourism Week is an annual tradition for the U.S. travel community. Each May, travel and tourism professionals across the country unite to celebrate the value travel holds for the economy, businesses and personal wellbeing.
Visit Bucks County did not host its annual National Travel & Tourism Week awards last year due to the pandemic. This year, they’re back. VBC wants to recognize Bucks County hospitality (restaurant, lodging, attraction, event, etc.) employees that were resilient and resourceful as the pandemic continues.
This year’s theme is the “Power of Travel.” During this week, Visit Bucks County recognizes the achievements of the local travel workforce by presenting employees and organizations in tourism- or hospitality-related fields with awards in five categories: Innovative Business, Guest Excellence, Hospitality Leadership, Rising Star and Dedicated Partner. Winners from previous years can be viewed here.
All nominations must be received by close of business on April 5. Recipients will be announced during National Travel & Tourism Week in May.
